Identifying your Stove by its data plate.(For stoves manufactured after 2009)

Unless you have mislaid your stove's user manual, the easiest way to identify your stove is by locating its data plate. The data plate will contain information such as your stove's brand, model name and model code. It will also indicate the stove's expected heat output

Once you have this information to hand we suggest you try searching for the model code using the search bar above. For example, if you have a Villager Esprit 10 wood burning stove the code on your data plate would read 'ESPRIT10W'. Doing a search for this code should return all the parts which are compatible with your stove.

Villager Stoves

Dataplate Location

Villager stoves have a data plate that can be found fixed to the lower left hand side of the appliance.

Be careful of examining this when the appliance is lit as this area will get hot.

Stratford Inset Boiler Stoves

Dataplate Location

Stratford inset boiler stoves will have a data plate that can be found on the right hand side of the stove beneath the removable side cover. The image to the right shows an inset stove with this cover already removed.

When the stove is lit this area can get very hot. Protect yourself from burns by wearing suitable gloves or wait until the appliance is unlit and cold.

Aarrow, Hamlet and Stratford Stoves

Dataplate Location

The data plate for these stoves is located on the lower right hand side of the stove.
